Go to a used PC store, and recycle a set on the cheap!


Most anything will give you decent sound.


At a used parts store you're more likely to be able to listen to something that you can at a big box sore.

Reply:If its Shoestring budget, then best speaker in the market is CREATIVE SB240. Though its a 2.0 system but you will love it when you will see the price and hear the sound........ almost no distortion at highest volume unlike cheap speakers.

The 120i are the ones you need I know I work there and use these ones at home.
