If air at a set pressure is heated by 20 degrees c what would that do to the pressure it is at?

As a gas is heated the molecules gain higher energy. If the air is in a closed vessel then the pressure of the gas will increase. Air in the atmosphere will be able to dissipate the heat to surroundingair molecules and so the pressure will remain constant.

I take it you mean air in an enclosed vessel, if that is the case the pressure would rise within the enclosure when heat is applied.
Reply:it wouldnt change- pressure depends on how many particles there are in a set area, temperature changes how much energy they have so there not the same
