You have several options. First, new companies can be created which are owned by the existing LLC. This means there will be separate companies but a single owner. Second, the existing LLC can register one or more assumed names. There is only one company but it has multiple names. You need to carefully examine your plans with a competent business planning attorney and involve your accountant from day one.
