What temperature is your thermostat set on?

It's 89 degrees here today, so we've got the a/c set to 73.

What temperature is your thermostat set on?
it is 88 today...mine is set at 70 with all curtains closed...i should go home to a really cool house. yay! cos I have an hour drive home with NO air!

Reply:It's 85 here. Ours is set to 73. It would be set to 70, but we have roommates who get could easily. They wanted it at 75, so we made a compromise.

then the slumlord sent the maintenance-no-repair guy with reinforcements.

Reply:What thermostat...when it's hot we open the windows, when it's cold we put on a blanket. We don't have heat in our home. Dad says, "It's too expensive and we all need to be a little tougher!"
