Cable and television is much different in other countries than America. You should be able to get regular cable in the phillippines, or perhaps even use a direct tv dish. Call the US embassy in the phillippines and they'll be able to illuminate you on these kinds of things. Otherwise I'd say have them recorded and fed-ex'ed. good luck, Jack
